New partnership for Qbr.it: this time we enter in the world of tv and movie casting with ilCandidato.tv. Inside Qbr magazine, under the Cinema Tv section, a new sub-channel will inform the community on tv and movie news and casting.
Aspiring actors, singers, contenders, TV viewers can keep up to date on the glossy world of their dreams.
ilCandidato.tv is the first Italian social network dedicated to casting. Created by Endemol and developed in cooperation with YAM112003 (in partnership with Digital Multimedia, Nascar and Open Mark), it was launched in January 2007 on the Qbr platform community. It also includes a media center in flash (where you can find community users audiences and videos from recent shows), and an online theme magazine dealing with movie news, TV and gossip, for all fans.
Qbr.it is one of the most successful social networks in Italy. Founded in December 2003 and, managed by Nascar since 2004 (Neapolitan Internet Company leader in projecting visual identities, online communication and web-marketing), Qbr opened in April 2007 with a wide range of novelties : such as the application of RUR (Real User Rank, the algorithm that detects fake users in chatrooms) , and the birth of an online magazine, that started an editorial partnership with Gay.tv in September of the same year.
Gianluca Cozzolino, Qbr’s CEO, stated: “We are very satisfied with this new partnership with Endemol Italia. We know the cooperation with Endemol editorial staff means dealing with a professional, dynamic and qualified staff,”. He then adds: “The original and up to date contents of ilCandidato.tv portal are perfectly suitable for youngsters who visit our social network: teen-agers and post-teenagers attracted to show-biz, fashion and television”.
Qbr.it and ilCandidato.tv share the same broad teenage target. Being television fans, many users, are entertained by the idea of becoming famous, while many others just have fun visiting this realm, they want to know more about show-business and would like a first row seat at a show or be a contenders in a quiz-show or a reality show. Thanks to their distinctive features, both Qbr.it and ilCandidato.tv , base the relation with their users on trust, through two social networks that offer interaction services and entertainment.
