After publishing the statistics of Qbr Magazine, some Ciaoblog readers have contacted us , inquiring about data concerning the whole social network. To the request of publishing Qbr data, we obediently respond with this post.
And besides being obedient we are also proud of the results achieved.
Qbr.it is proof that a product that is born naturally limited to a given territory, is bound to spread to new markets if the formula works and if it works well for that particular goal. Thus, even if the community has its roots in Parthenopean youth, this social network is becoming a italian reality, with subscribers from throughout the boot, and especially in Lazio, Lombardy and Emilia

Time may be your best friend if you work for an online magazine and you are the first to get the news . It so happened yesterday at Qbr Magazine: after the publication of “Naples boos Gigi d’Alessio” written by Luca Morieri immediately after the Pino Daniele concert on July 8 in Plebiscito Square in Naples.
The news of the explosion of boos that the “new-melodic” singer received by the public in his hometown has had a national resonance, also thanks to the news channel Rai whose direct news coverage of the event did not report on the boos but jumped to an different coverage.
Qbr was the first to report the event

“How is it possible that my 75 year old aunt who lives in Florida is so much better at using modern technology and make it her own, than my aunt in Milan?” Asks Layla Pavone on Bling Bling Blog in regards to the concept of digital divide, a technology gap between those who are online and those who are offline.
Even though Wikipedia describes the digital divide as “the gap between those people with effective access to digital and information technology (Internet, personal computers) and those without access to it”, from our experience we have learned that there is a big difference even within the same network with users who surf and those that

How do you conquer the 2.0 generation? This is the challenge that the team of editors of Qbr magazine face daily with appealing new objectives and proposals. Understanding how to reach the 2.0 generation, how to interact with them and get their interest is not an easy task, because their world is always suspended between the virtual and reality, varied and therefore complicated.
The great challenge that my colleagues and I tackle continuously, is to get the community involved with the contents of the Qbr magazine. The so called 2.0 generation is a target of 15-30 year olds who live on the edge of both reality and the virtual world, and therefore represent a

Thanks to blogs and social networking, Web 2.0 has made a two-fold transformation: not only has it changed the relationship between the media and the public which went from being mere users to active contributers but also, it has allowed companies to have a more direct approach with customers. The newest frontier of marketing, conversational marketing represents the right tool for companies to take advantage of the “social” characteristics of the web and start a dialogue with consumers. The interview with Lois Kelly, author of the book “Beyond Buzz… The Next Generation of Word-of-Mouth Marketing” enlightens us on the enormous opportunities that conversational marketing offers companies allowing them to speak with

The most recent one was Ethan Beard. The others are Sheryl Sandberg, Justin Rosenstein, Gideon and Benjamin Yu Ling. The Director of the Department Social Media is the latest illustrious ex employee of Google now sitting behind a Facebook desk.
Five super managers, an unknown number of employees and a single action: bid farewell to the Mountain View Company and a embark on brand new start at the social network founded by Mark Zuckerberg.
The situation appears awkward and consistent and some are talking about Google suffering from a ” Facebook problem“. Ironically, a few years ago Google itself had been the protagonist of a similar ordeal, but on the opposite side,

What are the social network giants of the world doing all gathered in the conference room of the British Telecom in London? Easy: they are revolutionizing the internet. On April 6th 2008 Google organized a one-day hackathon (a hack-marathon) for its project Opensocial (see the previous post). As Ciaopeople’s application development manager I attended the conference, and despite all the beer provided by Google, I am still able to talk about it. London, with its 300 languages, dozens of ethnicities and 20 underground lines thickly interconnected, is the perfect city for such a gathering.
Opensocial Google’s Blog reported:
The event will start at 11am and go as long as people can still type. We’ll provide
